Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, you can! All of our sports camp require a vast array of skills from our volunteers including registration, snack and meal preparation, Bible study leaders, bus drivers, etc. Rest assured if God is calling you to work with Cross Training Sports Camp, there is a job for you.

  • CTSC provides a minimum one 2-3 hour training about one month prior to camp to help volunteer understand our philosophy and their roles at camp.

  • The minimum age to be a CTSC volunteer without a parent supervisor is 14 years old or a freshman in high school. Children in middle school are welcome to volunteer alongside parents. Children between ages 4-12 years old are encouraged to attend local camps as campers.  Families with children of all ages are welcome to engage in our international missions program.

  • Here are some things you can do if you are unable to attend camp week:

    • Support our volunteers and staff through prayer

    • Sponsor a volunteer

    • Sponsor through the “I was… I am…”  feeding program

    • Sponsor a student to go attend school in the Roatan community

    • Donate sports equipment for camp by connecting with a camp director to meet camp week needs

    • Volunteer to engage in follow-up ministry with children who attend camp

  • CTSC is always in need of new or lightly used sports equipment, Bibles, school supplies, and backpacks. We are also accepting new dolls and toys for our international Christmas programs.
